Frenkie de Jong looks similar in game Johan Cruyff, FC states Barcelona-chairman Joan Laporta for the cameras of Today Inside. According to the Catalan, the midfielder guards the essence of the game that Barca plays through Cruijff's input.

Laporta will be around the premiere of Saturday evening Cruyff, the documentary series in honor of the tenth anniversary of Johan Cruijff's death, asked about his De Jong, who could soon become the Dutchman with the most games for Barcelona. “Frenkie sometimes reminds me of Johan”, Laporta begins.

‘Johan remained in our lives after his death’

Laporta indicates that he will find the ‘very special to be present at the premiere. “Johan was a reference in my life. I met him when I was eleven years old and he will stay with me forever.” The Spaniard calls it ‘special that it has been for ten years since Cruijff's death. “But that's actually not right.
