      Just play him at the back by himself, and free up another midfield spot.

      Or turn him into a CDM destroyer in front of a rotation of VDV, Romero, and Danso.

      Romero and VDV are leaving no matter what. Dragusin needs to be sold. So there’s a starting spot alongside Danso to be filled. However, as good as he is in the Bundesliga he’s complete untested in the prem and he shouldn’t be a nailed on starter by any means. On top of that he’s desperate to stay on more year at Hamburg so he can play with his brother who is currently serving a long term ban

      I don’t watch him play, but I always check his FotMob rating and he is consistently the only player in the back 3 that’s green.

      I know that doesn’t mean much, just something I’ve noticed.

      Assuming he wants to play with his brother, buy his brother and play them both.

      He’s very clearly staying there for another year to both continue growing and to play with his brother. both he and his family have been very clear about that being their preference

      Also as impressive as he’s been, he’s also very slow, and I worry he’d struggle with the pace of the prem in some ways

      3 atb doesn’t really work in the Prem so I doubt we’d go that direction.

      I’d say it’s much more likely that we loan him back to Hamburg for another year or he plays in a back four after we’ve sold one of Romero or Van de Ven (or both, who knows) but he’s likely not ready for the Prem yet.

      I think Romero and VDV leave in the summer regardless of where we finish. Happy to slot him in next to Danso.
