No doubt a good player but his injury record is poor and that is playing in La Liga, the PL is more physical so he'd be missing for most of the season. Manuel Fernandes, Joao Gomez and Angelo Stiller would be better value for money.
Why on earth would we want to sign any player, in any position who has a track record of being injury prone? We need players of any calibre, first choice, back-up, or youth team prospects, who are actually available to take to the field. That maxim requirement should come before everything. Isak, Gomez, Allison, Bradley, Leoni, do we really need any more injury issues to compound all of the other challenges LFC have?
Absolutely not worth taking the risk, if he can't stay fit with the lighter physicality of La liga theres no chance in the Premier League. If much rather take Gomez from Wolves, much less wages and is battle tested.
Been saying this for a long time – perfect profile for us, prolific, would improve the 1st team, and is sadly injury prone enough for us π
LFC aren't breaking any records with Konates contract talks are they. If Camavinga has the same management. LFC will have same problems with him. LFC won't want to give RM any pound.
Injury's would be a worry Madrid don't usually get rid of prime players
If he's getting injured in spain then he's getting injured alot more in the prem, now I'm not saying he's not a good player and if were going to a 3 then he could work in a double pivot but in a 4 at the back we are crying out for a No6 so Tchuameni would suit us better. We have lots of No8's. YNWA.
No injury prone players – cheap but if unavailable what is the point.
I totally get why Liverpool would avoid him, but Alexander Isak had an injury record longer than an Egyptian scroll, and we still went for him.
