  1. I have not watched the vid i won't watch it and I'm not english all i wanted to say is just bcuz he is a Madrid player doesn't mean he just automatically gets into the England squad still has a lot more to prove there are far more better and eligible players who deserve the call up

  2. What is the shock ? He plays in a position England have a lot of strength and depth and he is the weakest defender of the players who play that position. Plus he has been injured for most of the season. It is logical he isnโ€™t selected. Just because you play for Real Madrid doesnโ€™t mean you are automatically starter for England.

  3. In a 35 man squad yes he should be in it,but been injured a lot not been amazing at Real Madrid plus they have been bad themselves,Spence James livaremento all better then him this season,so canโ€™t complain

  4. Imagine being a defender and your best attribute is passing but he is not a good progressor of the ball he canโ€™t play midfield eithet

  5. It isnโ€™t worth having a player who can do one great pass or cross in 90 minutes but is a defensive liability for 90 minutes. England has enough creative players. It doesnโ€™t worth risking the defence.

  6. ENG coach is correct. England doesnt have a VALVERDE to cover for TAA. A Team cant function with an RW playing as RB with Zero defending. Calling TAA a Defender is a disrespect to Defending.

  7. These clowns did not see many games of Trent in Real Madrid. Signing him was a huge mistake, he is lacking physicality, attitude and about all… Fรบtbol!

  8. Shaka is spot on. Defense at a premium on national teams. The argument is that his prowess on offensive supercedes his deficiencies on defense. It's a ridiculous argument in most cases

  9. It's clear TAA's ideal position it appears to be a RW/RM in a 4-4-2 system. Yet Tuchel is going to use a system like 4-3-3 or 4-2-3-1. So where does TAA fit here? He isn't good enough defensively to sit at RM or to be anchoring the the midfield (see euro 24), that would leave his only position to be RW in the front 3, and that mean fighting with Saka, Eze, Madueke and Bowen for that position. A fight I cannot see TAA winning, so leaves him with no position to go into given the system Tuchel will play, despite his talent with passes/crosses.

  10. Southgate would include Trent in the England squad but almost never used him. For the same reason Tuchel doesnโ€™t want to pick him; heโ€™s too much of a defensive liability. Iโ€™m glad that Tuchel has a clear idea of what he wants / what he doesnโ€™t want and is unafraid to make potentially unpopular decisions. The England team need someone like that in charge
