I was the one who wanted him out because I felt he was ineffective as a CDM and papering over cracks in our attack. Felt that Zirkzee would make our attack better and Ugarte would make our midfield better.
Somehow he was better than both of them at attack and defense.
He would probably win us the league if he was still here.

more than selling scotty i think we messed up selling Garner or not including buy back clause. He has been great overall and is probably making the England squad which is a big achievement considering they Rice, Anderson, Wharton, Mainoo plus an aged Henderson to compete.,You can probably add Bellingham and Foden to the mix too.
