  1. Both keepers being non-HG is pretty hairbrained tbh

Personally I hope we go for Trafford

  2. Despite his horrid form at times this season, I Love vic but he has clear limitations in the air which costs us in a league that transitions to playing long throw ins and playing to get a corner. So I wouldn’t hate for him to leave.

Homegrown keeper is ideal or else I dont know. Usually teams can find good keepers at lower prices in many leagues

think the fanbase need to recalibrate a bit. not in europe, consecutive terrrrrible league finishes. which top prospects would want to join us? we’re shopping in the same aisle as your bournemouths and brightons, maybe a bit higher due to pedigree and wage structure, but maybe a bit lower because we havent shown that we will increase value.

  4. We should definitely NOT go for a 27 year old keeper who’s never been first choice keeper at his parent club. Go for Diogo Costa

This has to be some sort of joke. It would be ludicrous to sell the first team keeper now towards the tail end of a season where we are struggling to stay up. It would disincentive him massively to prove himself worthy of being the club keeper if he knows whatever happens he moves on to a top Serie A club.

Go and get Jordan Pickford out of Everton. He’s got an easy 3/4 years left in him. Let Kinsky play as understudy in minor games.

I can forgive him for the occasional howler, especially if he’s moderately COYS and usually makes up for it with some insane stop 15 minutes later. What I can’t forgive is him berating the players around him. That seemed to get better under Ange but has come back out a bit. At this point, I’m leaning towards selling him.

How do we feel about selling Vic for about what we bought him for? A wash / clean start isn’t a terrible outcome.

He’s been serviceable but can also be improved upon in some areas (aerial, on the ball and stopping long-range shots)

Vic has had his limitations, notably at set pieces and shots outside the box, but we’re not in the situation we’re in because of him. Our transition defense has been a huge liability, especially since we lose possession easily. I wish him good luck at Inter.

Depending how things unfold, we could sign Sá from Wolves or Sels from Forest, ie somebody competent but not great. Honestly, we have bigger fish to fry, presuming we stay up, which I wish with all my heart.

I have said this so many times this season… we have 1000000000 weak points we need to focus on, replacing Vicario is not in the top 100 moves we need right now.

  11. Get it done. Some good moments but not at the level of a top keeper. Lunin isn’t the answer either though, I want Roefs.

  12. Vicario might be just as brilliant as he is daft, but €17M?

How has his transfer value gone down when he’s won a europa league and been the best keeper in the UCL?

I won’t be happy until I see who we bring in as a replacement. Vic has his issues but something about “sticking with the demon you know” and all.

Don’t think we should be thinking about selling anyone at all much less our starting GK until we know who we are bringing in.

Am I the only one still high on Kinsky and thinks he deserves another shot?
