Should we stick with the 3 at the back, or go back to a 4 at the back? This is just a potential lineup for next season, im assuming Guirassy and Adeyemi will be sold, and that Spurs give us Vuskovic in exchange of Guirassy.

I really believe Vušković is a great ‘if we can’ signing but it’s never going to happen.
Also would prefer 3-4-3 if Sancho does rejoin.

We need a new 10. Period. Maybe Jobe can step up but I don’t see that happening. Jadon, if transferred, is definitely on the wing.

I personally hope we move to a back 4, I think it’s more entertaining to watch and suits our squad better.

Vuskovic would be such an amazing signing and I think would be a good fit for where he is in his development. With that said he’s on literally every clubs radar so It’ll be a longshot.
Also, Anton has to play in the middle. He just doesn’t have the pace to be an outside back

If Guirassy leaves, the club will have to sign a genuine goalscorer to replace him.
Silva is a neat and tidy forward with a decent touch, but he’s got a terrible record in front of goal and even starting games regularly it’s hard to see him even getting anywhere near double figures.

did Schlotti sign a contract? because he has absolutely no reason to stay next season other than Reus level loyalty which wouldn’t be in his best interest anyway.. he needs trophies for the level he can play at..

They are working on wingers, which means that they are probably going back to a 433. Since they are also looking for an actual defensive midfielder who can actually defend, they are probably working on a tactic with a dropping DM, so that it’ll be a mix of 2 cd and 3 cd, depending on situation. Which makes sense since the market for cds is basically non existent right now.
So overall the tactics will probably look for two inside forward wingers with different sets of skills (one more passing, one more finishing), a proper DM who can also play CD, which also means that the two CM have more offensive freedom
