Isn’t very special to Virg. Every team has someone do that when they equalise.
But at the same time, all the players know that they can take a a moment to celebrate since there’s still a lot of time to go in front.
Celebrate when you’re ahead, not when you’ve drawn level and there’s still a job to do. I like Virg’s mentality here.
That’s why he’s the captain.
Also noticed Virg was standing on the penalty spot so Gala’s players wouldnt mess with it
Unless it’s a late goal or an upset, you don’t celebrate a goal that draws you level. There still work to do and those first five minutes after the goal are critical concentration wise.
The last team we played celebrated for both reasons.
