  1. This means nothing.

I think our value is impacted by the fact that we have a relatively small squad compared to some others – like Arsenal and PSG especially. Fewer players means lower squad value.

And some of our biggest stars are older and get less value there like Neuer especially but also Kane and Kimmich

Surprised by Barca being so high – they have a great group but also some stars who are on the older side and have lower value like Lewandowski, Rashford and De Jong (not old but injured). I guess this is carried a lot by Yamal and Pedri.

Surprised also that Liverpool isn’t higher. They spend 500m last window alone

If Bayern were a PL team valuations for players like Olise, Pavlovic, Karl and Bischof would be much higher.

Transfermarkt’s evaulations are flawed. Woltemade’s value more than doubled, just because a rich club decided to overpay.

hard to compare since Prem clubs have bigger squads and Prem players get overvalued for being British usually.

  4. Is this transfer investment over a certain amount of years or squad value? Anyways, it means that we are doing more with less money and aligning with Bayern’s philosophy, which is to not just brainlessly splash money on superstars all the time, but rather develop stars themselves (see: Muller) or buy young players and make them stars here (see: Olise). If this is about squad value, keep in mind we have a smaller squad depth in comparison to other sides of our level (hence why injury problems are more pronounced here), and because many of our trademark stars such as Neuer are either old, or were not bought for a large fee, thus keeping them at a small market value. In reality it also means nothing as value is not skill.

I’d interpet this as something very positive, whether transfers or market value.
