I’ve rarily seen such a gulf in quality of finishing. They scored any half-chance on the edge of the box they got, and then they obviously also scored the whole-chances we gifted them.

Looking at the stats, you’d think we went toe-to-toe with PSG and the scoreline flatters them but anyone who actually watched the two legs knows it flatters us if anything. We’re beyond dismal. That game could have gone on for 10 years and we wouldn’t have scored yet any half chance PSG had, I was worried they’d score. Major, major changes needed at the club from top to bottom and the fact we need a massive squad overhaul despite spending so much money says everything about how this club is being run.

We did not deserve anything from this tie & I don’t look at this as a “we should have won” but it should make us question some of the personnel.
Good players over perform xG, bad players underperform xG. Goalkeeper obvious glaring issue together with CB quality. Also not enough finishing prowess.
Not sure where we go from here but something should change.

There’s probably around 6 players I’d definitely keep, and 6 more that I’d maybe keep, that are currently on the first team or on loan. The rest can go, as well as the manager, the SDs, and BlueCo.
Losing in the UCL is one thing, losing 8-2 to a team we just beat 3-0 in the CWC final and that isn’t even dominating their league this year is another thing. Consider the project failed imo.
Cant believe they didn’t buy Kvara and bought two different LWs for more money bc of a fucking wage structure.

It will be a miracle if we can drag this rotting carcass to a CL position.
We need to sell Delap, Disasi, Badiashile, Tosin, Chalobah, Garnacho and Jorgensen.
We need to pray Colwill comes back the same player, buy two elite CBs, a new GK (Trafford at city comes to mind) and a new forward. At this point if fuckin Mudryk becomes available I’d play him over Garnacho and Gittens.
