[Christopher Michel] I’ve heard that #MUFC are seriously working on a move for Sandro Tonali. And the Italian midfielder is apparently quite open to a move to Manchester. The club have been keeping tabs on him for a long time. Would he be a good signing?

Tier 3
Although Tier 3, I’m pretty sure he has links to our Director of Recruitment, Vivell.
Anderson and Tonali are my first and second preferred midfield signings. Getting both may be challenging, but either of them with another midfield signing would make a great window.
Tonali would be a great signing
Isn’t he reportedly homesick?
Fuck YES.
LETS GOOO
There’s that moneyball argument that you can’t replace a single player entirely so you have to get the average across other players. If you have the workrate and physicality of Tonali paired next to another player with better technical ability and playmaking, you would get a well balanced midfield…
Heard some noise around Tonali a few weeks back and remember thinking what an absolute nonsense story. Can’t believe we’re now actually getting some somewhat reliable news about him, what a signing that would be
Omg I would fucking love this, Sandro come here my love!
Surely they would demand some crazy fee? like Isak level.
I’m not surprised if we are in for him, and he obviously wants to leave for a bigger club, judging by his agent’s constant comments. Newcastle will be a nightmare to deal with though. Hard to see us getting him without massively overpaying. That’s probably the case for all of our midfield targets though, especially if we want proven PL players. I think we’ll end up spending well over £200m on midfielders this summer given that we obviously need three.
I like him a lot. Is he a natural number 6 or number 8?
Anderson and tonali as this summers cunha and Bryan aaaaahhhh
They made Liverpool pay 125M for Isak.
No chance he won’t cost 100+
He just signed a contract extension not long ago & his agents started offering him out.. It was City & Arsenal last week
Hopefully we conduct thorough background checks
Hell yeah!!
He’d be a rock solid signing. Instantly improving our midfield. He wouldn’t transform us but he’s the kind of signing like Mbeumo/Cunha we should have been making the last 10 years.
Surely he’d cost a fortune. Doesn’t feel realistic.
He’s a gamble
Need another Cunha-Mbeumo-Sesko level overhaul for midfield this summer. Maybe even more. Tonali is certainly in the right direction
Would be a good signing. Would Newcastle let him go to a direct rival?
I bet he is a good signing
Tonali is a perfect signing especially with Casemiro not being extended. Hope we move fast for his signature.
Tonali is a competent midfielder, but no replacement for Unc…
One of the best midfielders who looks willing to move from their team. Anderson is the ideal (both would be insane) but he looks very sold on City.
Love Tonali but if we are targeting players from Newcastle my choice would be Hall or Livramento.
Hall seems a natural successor to Shaw!
Can you imagine the meltdown 😂
Anderson has to be no.1 priority
He’s clear of anyone in that CMs to move bracket right now
