Antonio Rudiger previews Real Madrid’s match against Manchester City in the Champions League.

-TIMESTAMPS-

00:00 Intro
00:24 I’ve been in many matches like this, this is what you work for
00:48 City are one of the best in Europe and it’s always a pleasure to play the best
01:23 I had physical problems but that’s in the past
02:12 Bad luck charm for Haaland? I don’t think too much like this
02:26 Haaland had the better of me in the group stage, pleasure to play him, I like the physical battle
03:18 Contract renewal? Most important is I’m healthy, not the time to talk about that
03:56 I feel great here, feel the love but decisions not just on emotions
05:10 Tackle v Getafe? In slow motion it looks terrible, it was almost like I killed him, he doesn’t beed to exaggerate, if I had the intention to do that he wouldn’t stand up
06:05 We all know I like to be tough but I have boundaries
07:00 I see my role as very important, have to help the young players
08:00 As an older player you have to take responsibility and take pressure off the younger players
08:57 We need the mentality all the time not just tomorrow, win together or lose together
09:48 I’ve faced Haaland many times, he’s world class already, very strong, I like these duels
10:30 Fantastic playing against Haaland
11:02 Hope it doesn’t come to penalties tomorrow but I’m ready to take responsibility

  1. People overrate the hell out of rudiger when he faces haaaland. I’ve yet to see city use haaland like he should be used vs Madrid. How can you praise a defender when his team plays 10 at the back when they face city? Send haaland through 3 times and he scores 2 times and they haven’t done that in like 8 games they’ve faced Real Madrid

  2. Of course he beat him, because Haaland is a football player and not an antisocial thug and kicker who thinks he's a football player!🤦‍♂🤣🤡
