BBC: Chelsea suffered their joint-heaviest defeat in a two‑legged European tie, losing 8-2 on aggregate and 3-0 on the night to European champions Paris St‑Germain at Stamford Bridge. Referee took pity on Blues and blew his whistle on the 90th minute after Chalobah’s injury reduced them to 10.

We’re at the point where even the refs take pity on us. I now understand what it’s like to be a Tottenham fan… dark days.

Can’t even score at home. I know our defence is bad but we can’t even score at home. I remember seeing Santos in a good position outside the box not even trying for a shot but shifting it to the right to Neto who fumbles. We’re not even an attacking side, more like just keep the ball moving side

i can’t, bro was handing Garnacho tactical notes when it was 2:8 85 minutes in, we’re fucking COOKED if Linkedin Liam stays for next season

How does Rosenior have so many shooters in this sub? What has he actually won in his managerial career to warrant this level of backing?

  5. Remember when Arsenal were getting passed around by Bayern and Barca every year. The 8-2 memes. That’s the level we have dropped to now.

Actually, they used to at least make champs every year. We’ll be on the conference league next season after spending 2 billion. Fun times

If ever proof was needed how pointless xG is as a metric, Chelsea had a higher xG over a tie we lost 8-2.

And yet the sporting directors seem to be hanging their hat on such metrics because they know better than everyone else.

I was suprised he started Chalobah as hes played alot recently. I also missed the end of the game today. Was his injury bad, what happened?

  8. The tie was lost in the first leg. Newcastle was just a preview of what was to come.

Reece getting injured earlier and trevor today just was the final nail in the coffin.

The humiliation today was well deserved.

I won’t blame Rosenior too much – he deserves a proper chance.

You can blame the ownership and SDs all you want but the players are just as much to blame – the fans keep hyping palmer, pedro, caicedo and others – but they deserve to face the music at this point.

  9. Good!!!

This is what this recruitment gets you

Never seen a more inexperienced defensive lineup in my life in a CL knockout game.

Blue CO out , this is a disgrace

  10. UK gov ruined our club when you they forced Roman to sell.

BlueCo ruined our club when they fired Tuchel, then Maresca

Liam ruined our season when he decided he was going to drop Sanchez

  11. well this sucks, just end the season already, doesnt even look like we will qualify for champions league

  12. I am tired Jamie.

    I have said enough.

I can’t even type it anymore. We will sign a 17-19yr olds. I want that Sporting defender who scored today. And another 2/3 senior players with some hair on their balls

We need to spend 1 more billion, so we can win the conference league again. We’re the champions of the world!!

Feels hard to care tbh.. This isn’t the club I grew up supporting, they just bought the badge.
