How do we ask the same question to Mickey 5 times? What a bunch of crap. We need to back the players because the rest of the world is trying to create a rift between the fans and players.

The big thing I take away from this is a reminder that people tend to make the most mistakes when they’re trying their hardest. VDV and Romero especially have made some really stupid blunders in recent games, and it was easy to say at the time that they’re doing it because they don’t really care. But it could just as well be seen as them caring a lot, like when anyone gets frustrated that things aren’t going their way even after they’ve put a lot of work and effort into it. I’m taking him at his word here, after how frustrated I was with him and everyone else just a few weeks ago.
Also, the bit at the end about recognizing that Kinsky wasn’t the only one slipping, especially at the start of the game, was big. I don’t think I’ve seen anyone mention that, but I definitely saw at least a few other players slipping, it’s just that Kinsky’s is the most visible as the keeper.

Baah Gaawd, are we witnessing some fighting spirit?!

Destiny and Lucas back and on the bench.
Romero back.
Micky focused and pragmatic.
And Tudor is a solid character.
Down 3 goals, but could we?

Listen, two managers in a row have put Micky as captain when Romero is out. Truthfully, it was a surprising choice to me, but I trust the guy who sees the players day to day, in training, in the changing room, etc. Does anyone think Tudor would hesitate to choose someone else if Micky has checked out? I don’t. This is such a nonsense story, and I’m tired of hearing about it, especially on this sub where people seem to buy into it bc we suck, and they’re bored.

Tell you what- the way the media have gone after us, and particularly Tudor in these last couple weeks, has been fucking embarrassing. Especially Sky Sports. Which gets more like Talk Sport with ever passing season.
I get that everyone wants us to go down, it’s a huge story if so and people like sensationalism.
But the, “are you sure you’re the right man for the job?” After the liverpool game, and the, “are you a quitter?” a day later… is just cheap and fucking nasty.
The way he’s batted the questions away has left me with a huge amount of new found respect for him.
