Trippier on his future :- There’s loads of possibilities. I understand and respect that my contract’s up in the summer. I’m not thinking about the future [beyond the summer]. I’m thinking about tomorrow. And that’s just me being honest.”

Top bloke, whatever happens in the summer he’s been great for the club. He’s old (in football terms) but has shown recently there’s still a player in there.

Be mad to not at least offer him some kind of coaching role, with a pay per game playing role if he wants it.

Does he go straight into coaching/management or does he drop down a couple tiers to play?

  4. Still a quality player to have behind Livermento. Gets along well with the manger. English and understands what it means to the fans. Locker room presence and leader. Going to hard to find players like that to come in and be behind Livermento while potentially not having European football next season. That’s why it’s best to see how things play out in the summer. If we win the champions league or make top 5 than we can get in a quality RB behind Livermento but without those 2, I’d be happy to keep Tripper for another year.

You cannot overstate how important how signing was. It was the signing that changed everything and made other signings possible. And all for £12m.

You do what you like KT. You’ve earned it.

Instrumental in our change of fortunes. Remember before he came in the endless frustration around poor deliveries into the box. When he started there was an instant improvement.
Fair’s-fair now he can’t play all the games under the sun, I think he gets that too? Whatever happens props to the man for showing faith and commitment in the team. Wish him all the very best!
