you know what’s crazy? if you look back at it, we legit could’ve done back to back treble the year after that. we severely downgraded our team after the treble, yet we still won the league, only knocked out by madrid who ended up facing bayern & dortmund which are NOT even that strong & we defo could’ve beaten them if we faced them that season, and then we were so not arsed about FA cup final that we lost it to a very poor utd team (which tbf they played well that game and deserved to win). just what could have been…
