They’ll say anything at this point. This was the best team I’ve seen under Tudor.

AI might actually be better than a huge percentage of “journalists” at this point, and I fucking hate “creative” AI.

Literally no one felt this way during or after the game.

Unfortunately because who we are, it’s just low hanging fruit for these morons. Like Neville saying it’d be good for the prem if we go down.

Best thing is to genuinely just ignore the noise from the press. I actually hope they keep writing this kind of shit because it’ll feel all the better *when* we escape relegation.

  4. I don’t understand why the media seem to have it in for Spurs not even this year but last year they went after Ange . I remember Eddie Howe had an injury crisis at nufc and the media gave him sympathy with their questions . I find it very strange

  5. Journos are desperate to keep having the opportunity to write about us getting relegated.

  6. Commentators during the match (US viewer) were acting like it was a miracle Liverpool weren’t up by 3 despite them looking pretty meh for most of the match. I was watching thinking yeah that’s the narrative but that isn’t whats on display here. And then voila, after it ended 1-1, the NBC people (Tim Howard), who were slating us at halftime roundly agreed that we deserved a point. Get fucked Timmy.

Who the fuck even gives time to the Mail. Fucking awful rag. Never printed a story that wasn’t utterly made up.

  8. Been saying this for a while, the media wants us to go down so bad. They’re desperate for a juicy, controversial story so they can make more money.

Haha this was obviously planned presuming we’d lose, and they decided to go ahead with it anyway, hilarious

  10. Jesus….some real hate type fake news from journalists…for a football match, how bizarre

  11. Maybe Forest despair about their own shite performances on their 4th manager of the season

  12. What the fuck did we do to piss the media off so far? Did Daniel Levy fuck each of their wives or something because the narrative over the last…three years has been absolutely atrocious. Whatever happened to unbias reporting?

I was there – there was some frustration, for sure, but by and large the away end was just trying to will them on. I don’t know who he sat next to but “joyless pit of despair” is complete rubbish. We went nuts when Richy got the goal and again at full time, and throughout the game the songs kept coming. I haven’t been to a match in a while and if anything I was surprised by how upbeat the away supporters were.

Then again, this is the Mail, so expecting actual journalism is a bit of a reach.

I would agree that statement would accurately describe the feelings of most supporters pre-match. However, even with Vicario conceding a goal he should have saved, it was clear after the first half that the lads were up for the fight. And at the final whistle it was clear that we deserved that point at the very least. The Mail truly deserves their reputation for peddling nothing but shite.
