• Olmo, massive improvement compared to last season’s pressing numbers
• Raphinha, decline compared to last season.
• Rashford in the 9th percentile for pressures, not good enough.
• Fermin & Frenkie impressive numbers

Of course, they’re the best

Yamal is the one that stands for me, because it’s something that, at least as far the eye test goes, is a massive change from last season. He was definitely doing his duty, don’t get me wrong, but I was left feeling that when he wasn’t delivering in attack, he was a weak spot defensively. This season, I’ve felt more so that on his off-days, he’s contributing meaningfully.

Lewandowski pressing stats are superior compared to Ferran and that should be Ferran’s strength.
On the other hand Alvarez is monster there ranked as the 5 best presser among the strikers,in the world.

Why are some of the percentiles calculated using the Top 5 leagues and other using La Liga only?

Pedri is plain and simple the best midfielder in the world right now, and has been for 3 seasons already. As good as he is with the ball, he might be even better without it.
