Loved him and his absolute chaos, he was too good to be the second choice keeper.
Was it mourinho that pushed him out? I don’t even remember
Best second choice keeper we’ve ever had

Wish him a good life away from football.
Best #2 ever
He was the best 2nd choice goalkeeper in the world when he was with us. Really likeable too.
Enjoy retirement Sergio. I’m glad our paths crossed and that we got to win a nice amount of silverware together.
Absolutely brilliant so reliable and never made a fuss. He was so good in tht Europa league win
The best backup goalkeeper one could ever have! Wishing him all the very best in his post-retirement endeavors
Ole did him dirty in the Europa League final
So glad Jose gave him the time to shine in the Europa League and kept a clean sheet in the final

Fantastic player fantastic career
Most capped goalkeeper for Argentina national team. Quite an achievement that
Still not happy about the manner in which we let him leave. Deserved a better send off
Romero originally joined to replace De Gea who would have joined Real Madrid if it wasn’t for some weird issue with paperwork.
Instead what happened was a fire was lit under De Gea and started playing the best football of his life and to his credit, Romero stayed for 6 years and made sure of it.
