I acknowledge we have improved our attack but 1 goal in 3 games is shouldn’t be enough to be a top scorer at our club! Assuming we play 50 games next season, someone needs to get us 25+ goals with couple others getting 15+.
That’s not a criticism for current forwards but more of a demand to raise the standards!

Since SAF’s retirement, there has been only one Red got 30G in a season. And no one got 20G in EPL.

It’s basically a rule of the universe that Big Ben scores every time he comes off the bench.
I reckon Carrick will utilize him that way ~80% of matches for the rest of this season.
Gotta be him.
Side note, big credit to the current board for getting the right players in to completely transform us from last season.

If Sesko went for the 1v1 instead of trying to pass to Amad yesterday and he also scored that chance right at the end of the Spurs game, he would be in double figures in the PL rn and he would be level with Gyokeres & Ekitike ðŸ˜
Sesko seems to have the momentum so I’m betting on him

I think its quite healthy to have the goals spread around like this. It means that you aren’t reliant on just one player (besides Bruno of course) to be in good goal scoring form or the whole team collapses.

Off topic but anyone else see Mbuemo look quite frustrated at getting subbed yesterday ? I actually agreed with the sub but couldn’t help but notice how upset he looked coming off. Hopefully a positive thing.

Youd like to think sesko will have 14 or 15 by the ends of the season which will hopefully lead to 20+ next year when he’s more settled in the league etc. Encouraging signs
