The video is a highlight of him captaining Scotland under 15's against Spain, and playing with real maturity. Hopefully he continues to play for Scotland through the age groups and doesn't get snapped up by his parents native Nigeria or end up playing for England under residency rules..
I suppose he'll become a better player at arguably a bigger club, by way of resources, but it's disappointing that our league is just ripe for the picking of any talent. That there's a disbelief that talent that grows up here can actually make and instead has to move in order to be successful.
I don't know how sell on contracts work, but presumably when it's an as yet untested prospect, the sell on percentage should be much higher?

You can’t get English residency unless you are there for 5 years of schooling/nursery/etc
Basically you need 5 years 0-18.
I’d be surprised if he switched to Nigeria, I’ve yet to see a young Scot switch to an African country, when we call them up.

Not really an extensive list, but until the 00s Scotland had a miniscule Black population. That’s changed the past couple of decades and like Ireland. We will see more young lads coming through. But I doubt we will lose many. It’s only really European nations and Australia we lose prospects to.
