  1. For some reason I am optimistic. When we expect to win we don’t and when we expect to lose we do well. I have a good feeling about this. I believe we will see something very different and will catch PSG by surprise. Probably we’ll go up 2-0 early in first half (JP and Palmer are due goals) and then PsG panics and we score a third in the last 15 minutes. Then in overtime we get 1 more.

2-0 at half, Palmer with a left foot from out the box to even the tie in the 84’, then Estavao with the winner 90’+3

  3. I’m hoping deep down for one of the greatest nights in Chelsea history… but my brain is telling me we’re gonna hold 60% possession with 2 attempts on target and lose 0-1

  4. I bought tickets before the game last week. Now it feels like that was a waste of £65.

  5. No this season is over. We are finished as a club. We’re done and I’m done I quit football

  6. With a self righteous “prophet” as a coach..who doesn’t want to hurt anybody and delap as a half time sub and garnacho as a winger who can do all the fake moves but cant get the ball past the defender..yeah..i will just watch the game with 0 expectations. Coz no matter what, it is the only club i will support.

I for one, an in the blind optimism camp.
It’s called being a fan, not just a critic or commentator. I remember the fortress days of Petr, Terry, Chubby and Drogba, and even then the CL was a dream.

Then we won it in the most unlikely fashion!

    And then again!!
Member when we had a season ticket to wembley. We closed the old stadium and opened the new!

I also remember the dark days of division 2.

You’re a fan all the time.

Some of you Johnny come latelys don’t seem to know what being a fan is. You’re “only fans” just in it for the clout, worried about what other teams are doing.

    Fuck that

    Blue is the colour

  8. I’m utterly hopeless and haven’t had this feeling even when we were at our lowest.

  9. I had thought about treating myself to a ticket to the home leg as a birthday gift, but I changed my mind after I saw the result. I have little faith in a comeback and I also don’t see the point of spending that much money on Westview tickets. I hate the Westview.

Taking the wife and kids to our first Chelsea game at the Bridge. We live in the States so we’ve only seen the USA tour games. Uphill climb but LFG, Can’t wait!

  11. Zero optimism here. Our home record is dire this season.

And tbh the whole season is thrown at the window with the CWC, I knew tired legs would be a thing we will struggle without Colwil. With the Maresca exit, even more turmoil. I had very low expectations to this season.

We were legit the better team at 2-2.

Even with 3-2 and we’d boss them in the second leg. But what happened in the end of that game gives me 0 hope.

We need to win 4-0,5-1. No chance!

The boys completely capitulated and that greatly affected their Newcastle game too.

If we had scored 2 or 3 against Newcastle, I’d feel much better. But the fact that we didn’t and everyone not a part of BlueCo says we need a star CB and GK and they just won’t invest. If thought we could blank a team and score 2 or 3, I’d feel better. But there’s no Terry or Azpilicueta and no Cech or Courtois this time. I know that they are willing to invest in positions that sell shirts, so just invest in the positions that win games. Please.

It’s not that we cannot score three goals, we can and may even . The problem is stopping them scoring . Our defense without Colwill has been bad all season . All they pretty much have to do is score before us and it’s pretty much over .

Then there is Rosenoir, hypothetically we score 3 goals, 15 mins to go and he brings on Tosin and Delap . It’s pretty much Rosenoir being the reason i don’t think we can do it .
