He’s always rated Bruno as a world class player. I remember an interview a while back where someone asked if he’d like to join United. He just smiled and said something like “Nah… they already have Bruno” basically implying that if he joined, he’d end up playing second fiddle to him.

I feel like if you’re an attacking midfielder in any capacity you’re keeping an eye on Bruno. De Bruyne himself who Bruno is often unfavourably compared to respects him loads, and I heard Maddison mention a few years ago he was basing a lot of his game on Bruno too. Its only really the pundits who are constantly creating the narratives around him, so much so that no one credits the positive aspects of his character because the negative narrative is always so prominent.

The sins of the past with our backroom just keep coming back to haunt us buying Marquee signings and zero of them panning out ignoring Jack and going for a waster like Sancho it was if they were buying players Rashy wanted in the team hoping to recreate the under 21 by adding Pogba etc but I think Jack has been a bit loose with his career the partying and the lifestyle it catches up and it’s showing when he was at villa he was a good player but who knows
