  1. Don’t know why our wingers being missing make us an absolute joke defensively Liam

Which is by far the much bigger problem created during the Rosenior era that needs addressed

Even with Garnacho being the only senior winger, Rosenior elected for no Derry or Kavuma-McQueen even for the bench

Doesn’t want to make excuses then proceeds to make excuses.

We don’t even have as many injuries like we did last season etc.

    Not making excuses…..but…..

Man just go away. Why do they constantly talk like this?

  4. What is he talking about now wingers didn’t leave a gaping hole in our defence FFS

  5. Excuses… The problem is that we keep leaking goals!

Yesterday was one of the few games we didn’t score in this season.

Look at the way we play. It’s like the players are afraid of losing the ball, because we gonna get hit with a counter and concede.

And even if we had Estevao and Gittens available, would he use them a lot?

He’d just keep Palmer RW, Neto LW, or change those two around. I doubt, the way he is, he’d give more minutes to Estevao compared to the amount of minutes Maresca was giving to Estevao.

  6. That’s an excuse.

Real Madrid is winning matches without Mbappe, Bellingham, and Rodrygo. Including a 3-0 victory against Man City.

  7. Well done to the ownership. They ripped him out of a job he was comfortable and doing well in, only to drop him into a competitive PL mid-season in a shit situation, without the right personnel, and now he’s not doing well and the fanbase turn against him.

He certainly didn’t deserve to have got this role, but this ownership are insistent on keeping the job within their ridiculous blueco family or focusing on coaches who have achieved very little.

A novel idea, but imagine hiring a coach/manager who has experience of winning big trophies. You may actually get a tactically adept person to lead this team.

  8. What about Newcastle missing / resting their starting midfielders and their main center back?

  9. Unlocking a low block requires actually taking risks and being ready for a counter attack. Passing 9000 times sideways, because your defence is too shit to deal with a quality counter attack is how we end up here.

Build team and tactics around individual brilliance of wingers, and sign the shittest wingers possible. Makes sense.

Sometimes, it’s ok to just come out and call it like it is ‘we were shit’. Making winger excuses, you’re just losing the fan base at this point Liam. We are all very much aged because of this shit.

Regarding the injured, in recent years we have never been in as good a position as we are now.
Rosenior can relate almost every game for Palmer , James, Fofana and our strikers. None of the important players are injured and we have a decent amount of rotation for every post, esp for the wings. So that’s a very weak statement and absolutely makes himself a clown.

There was some match in past year, when we had a Neto, Sancho, KDH , George front and we still make a goal somehow.

    1. Our center backs are dog shit.

    2. Our approach to games is dog shit.

    3. Our concentration levels are an absolute joke.

    4. There’s no spine and James alone cannot mobilize and lead.

    5. You’ve pissed this season away already and imagine “world champions” in a dog fight for CL spots (that too when 5 exist, versus 4).

    6. The DNA of the team is completely whack – its just vibes.

    7. Without Palmer’s form, there’s barely any lethal injection of pace of creativity barring Pedro and he too cannot single-handedly carry.

    8. Liam Delap is a League Cup / FA Cup early rounds player at best – stop trying to make him work.

    9. Garnacho can go fuck right off

    10. It’s truly a dark time for Chelsea FC with the SDs absolutely ruining the club from inside with incompetent recruiting including this PE teacher

    What can be done?

    1. Clear out the garbage (bye Garnacho)

    2. Recruit smart – get PL-proven players to make the defensive spine. Spend $ on CBs. Get some fucking capable depth. Balance out the long-term vision with the immediate needs as well.

    3. Take accountability for the downturn and promise to listen more to the fans.

Potter V2. But I won’t even blame him at this point. The issue is the board, while managers are being used as scapegoats. The frustraion needs to be directed up the ladder at this point

  15. People defending Liam like he’s some genius manager on the up. No, he’s a project manager and “needs time” to instill “style of play” to build a “winning culture.” Those phrases are utter bullshit. We need tactical awareness, creativity, these players are not talented enough to figure it out on their own. The manager is a defensive black hole.
