    Kai Havertz came back to haunt the club where it all began for him as he scored an 89th-minute penalty to ensure our Champions League round of 16 tie against Bayer Leverkusen remains in the balance.

    A quiet first half’s biggest moment saw Gabiel Martinelli rattle the crossbar as we looked to establish a first-leg lead, but a slow start to the second half proved costly as Robert Andrich headed in a corner within 45 seconds of the restart.

    But just as it looked like we were going to suffer defeat in the competition for the first time since last season’s semi-final, Noni Madueke was brought down inside the box, and after a lengthy VAR check, Havertz kept his cool to net from 12 yards and restore parity ahead of next week’s return leg at Emirates Stadium.

      Who also notice in our games this days that if Rice goes forward Zubi becomes liability which is not helping our attack going forward at all

      I do think he’s still tired

      If Mikel can do something about it we will be happy

      We only want to win win at the end of the season tho

      Gyökeres should have let the ball just through to Martinelli, then Martinelli had been in a perfect shooting position for his strong right foot.
      This extra touch by Gyökeres was not necessary.

      Gabriel did not block the ball just with his chest but also with his chin and his Adam's apple. That was the reason for the long time out.

      This negativity amongst the socalled Arsenal fans makes me 🤮.
      City and Liverpool, both have lost their last CL games and both are behind us at the PL table and still the vibes amongst their fans in their forums and here on YT are positive and way better than the vibes amongst our always whining "supporters (?)". 😡

      PS: maybe it is the lacking support of the socalled Arsenal fans that we eventually have lost possible titles in the last seasons.
      There must be a reason why the Emirates is called the library by our opponents.
