pedri is decribed by me and some other people like the combination if iniesta, xavi and busquet, and if that player existed then it is by far the best player we had ever seen, pedri is that player, pedri is the best ever football player ever
Bayern's attack would be good to analyze, and if they are achieving defensive balance or not, if their attack is demonstrating collective unpredictability. They sure can score a lot of goals.
The best example is 2015 barca, with MSN
I know you have done videos about this team before, but ever since, many players and also the style changed: Fluminense. Especially players like Lucho Acosta, Martinelli, Savarino and John Kennedy have been playing very well.
Almost like wirtz
Pedri is the best player right now and such a joy to watch. I think he deserves an elite CDM like Rodri next to him. Pedri has so much to run for Frenkie because of his problems at defending. Thank you for the video.
Pedri plays football in flow-state 😭👍🏾
I’ve said it before, he’s the most press resistant player I’ve seen ever. Maybe of all time
Can you dare to explain how Messi plays the game??
Make a series of analysis
He is simply the best player in the world right now !!!
4:14 sums up Arsenal's whole system 😂😂 !!!
Amazing analysis of the game -as always – Great video
i think farioli’s porto strike an interesting balance of structure and unpredictability. they will often look to break their structure at the right moments and rely on combination play to attack fast
Pedri is elite, next level.
His first touch, ball control, awareness, vision + passing skills make him the best
The goat is back at it (Pedri and ThePuristFootball)
I enjoy watching bournemouth most of all, in Europe at the moment, its like a feel good movie
to confuse your enemy you must confuse yourself first 🙂
FDJ is the perfect partner Pedri can have.
Please make a comparison video on Pedri and Xavi
By spontaneity do you mean a more relationist style of play? Or are the two mutually exclusive?
I get more pleasure watching Pedri than any other player on the planet right now. I just wish he'd stay fit so we could watch him more often. Absolute jem.
This is probably why I love watching Bodo/Glimt so much. They don't usually follow positional rigidity like others are currently doing in the world of football. They improvise based on their situation while also following somewhat of a positional discipline in terms of defense, which makes them almost unplayable this season. Hopefully your next video would be about them (subtle foreshadowing) :3
It is easy to improvise when you have 99 ball control and 99 passing 😂 ask a player like Gallagher to improvise on the ball
He'll go down as an all-timer – after Thiago Alcantara, he's the first midfielder I've seen who genuinely seems to combine the best of both Xavi & Iniesta's games + has an eye for goal – funnily enough though, unlike Thiago, he's not from La Masia.
This is one of the best analysis have watched you explained modern football so well
bodo is an obvious example but still I think you should consider galatasaray, as most of the attacking xg comes from relentless pressing which causes chaotic situations depending on improvisation.
I am so haooy Iniesta and Messi decided to have a kid together.
Yess!!
Most of my coaches always focused on "after A, always do B", and I've hated that since youth.
I want my every decision to be a cognitions one, not the mordern trend of an automatic one.
I've had one coach who screamed at me whenever I made a bad decision. He was the best one I've ever had, because he let me make my decisions.
(I play badminton (where people are still decent and screaming is rare), but same applies to football)
Pedri basically has ultra instinct. He just needs to master it now.
This was the perfect video to watch after watching Veritasium's on Newcomb's Paradox.
I think it is possible if players are sufficiently aware of their teammates' positions defensively as well as offensively. It requires good individual understanding and reading of the game in both directions. It might also involve some players being more positionally disciplined to allow others to extemporise. Cruijff describes the Ajax team he played in this sort of manner in his autobiography for example.
Imo the Pedri like players are few and invaluable. One other top elite unpredictable maestro is Vitinha who plays the same role for psg. Or the OG maestro Iniesta and Modric. The way these players perceive the game is such a joy to watch, even for opposition fans.
We should play Pedri in the 10, Frenkie and Bernal need to other players
Barcelona and Bodo are the best teams to watch currently, Bodo because of their unpredictablity and Barca because of the individuals as well as their hunger to score more goals, while playing direct as well as possession based football.
My team 💙❤ VISCA BARCA
And great video bro.
Excellent! If he does not know what h wants to do, you don't either. Ha! Ha!
Sadly he ghosts in important matches, what's the point of performing against small clubs in unimportant matches when against tougher clubs you are gonna be invisible. I hope he fixes his pressure control
NEC Nijmegen 3rd in Eredivisie
Really good video as a coach and a player this is great. I've sent it to a few of my midfielders that I coached but very good for me also.
Can you explain why is la Masia not producing top class strikers? La Masia has been providing talent for every position except striker position, and throughout Barca history, Barca's striker is always a world class South American but not from La Masia.
