no doubt there’ll be a statement out shortly explaining how the fans were goaded into this because the guy in the picture looked a bit too catholic

I walked past this tonight and don’t notice the graffiti so I’m reasonably confident it’s AI or Photoshop. Or… I’m hideously lacking in observation skills!

Couple of weeks ago on the M77 between the newton mearns and darnley turnoffs there was Celtic and IRA pish sprayed over the welcome to Glasgow signs. It wasn’t long in getting removed. This shite is really getting out of hand, they need their heads banged together. Aren’t we supposed to, collectively, be proud of where we are from? Why wreck it?

  5. You’d hope this isn’t real – will wait until more than one weirdo isn’t posting it on Twitter though.

  6. Must be a squad of them doing it because there’s Rangers (UB) graffiti from Castlecary to Paisley beside the motorway

  7. Whilst this is certainly not the way to go about it, Glasgow should have more sporting murals imo.

There’s a rich history of sport in the city, and for better or worse, some very passionate fan bases. Some cities in Europe go crazy for street art for the local teams. Naples, Split, Marseille to name a few and even in England, Liverpool has some great pieces of art dotted across the city.

As shit as some murals can be, they’re at least more interesting than a blank wall or a billboard.

Hopefully the green brigade can swing by and make repairs by adding a celtic top and turning the mural guy into Danny Mcgrain
