      Really like him but he just hasn’t improved since his early seasons like most of us would’ve liked/expected.

      This is ridiculous. Did we not see our build up play without Balde just in the last match? His ball carrying is insane. Plus you play him to platform Raphinha, when he’s clearly an undelapping fullback. Have fun replacing him

      I’d still keep him over Araujo tbh, yes his decision making in the final third is mid but his pace and dribbling does help us

      And replace him with? The only one I could think of is Grimaldo.
      But then he is 30 so is only a short term option.

      It could work only if we also groom a La Masia kid in the meanwhile.

      But I do agree he isn’t untouchable. He hasn’t improved since his debut, still is ass at crossing, passing and man-marking. It has no value if you beat 3 players to create a chance and then cross the ball into the stands.

      Unless we’re getting Nuno Mendes somehow or reverse aging Cancelo, what are we doing with this. Haven’t seen Jofre Torrents in months as well

      Baldé has a ridiculously high ceiling, but he has been wildly underwhelming this season. He consistently underutilizes so many of the traits which make him a world class fullback to begin with, and we only sparingly see glimpses of his pace and breakaway abilities these days. I don’t want to see him sold, but if he doesn’t step on the gas, I can absolutely see him getting shipped off sooner or later.

      i feel he has been stagnant in his development for sometime now but selling outright this summer is too fast too soon

      Selling Alejandro Balde to fund a move for Alessandro Bastoni would be the most Barca transfer strategy ever. Fix the defense by selling the only young natural left-back in the squad.

      I don’t believe it. Though, if this is true I would be pissed unless there is some super talent in La Masia ready to replace him? I am sure Deco won’t have problems to offload him just give a call to Pep, I am sure he is happy to take him.

      He has barely progressed since last 5 years and is increasingly injury prone. I trust Deco here
