I think this is just the opposite of last season
When we had like the reverse. Not many shots, touches in the box and low expected goals…. But had loads.
We’ve looked really positive under vitor and I think results will come. And it’s not just a flash in the pan. I’ve thought we’ve looked much improved since he took over and in every game he was in charge. Even if results are upsetting

0.073 xG per shot, not exactly creating the best chances and the big chances we do get we always miss. We must be the slowest attacking team, night and day from last season.

The xG really stands out here as the issue. To have such a low value relative to the massive number of total shots is indicative of really poor chance creation.
Certainly due some ‘luck’ though and hopefully it comes at the weekend.

If only we could have somehow known that we needed another goalscoring threat other than Chris Wood.
This was completely unexpected!
Btw, its an absolute fucking disgrace of recruitment that all last season we didn’t have a reliable backup striker and we’ve now gone at minimum 3 windows without adding an actual threat in the league.
