  1. The Pinocchio/Geoppetto thing fell apart when Pep crashed out. Between his back/neck and his wife leaving, I doubt he had much left over for his little creation.

Because he makes every side he “plays” for significantly worse? There’s only one ball, and Pep would rather someone talented has it than another Foden 40 yard shot that’s 50 yars off target.

He’s amazing as a sub when City are already comfortably winning though.

More has been asked of him since our treble winning players have gotten older/moved on and sadly Foden is just not that guy. He can play to a world class level for about a month, the rest of the season he’s been an absolute ghost.

I don’t know if he needs a move, a new manager or if he’s just finished at 26. A player who can only turn up for one month a season is no good to a team that wants to win titles.

I guess City haven’t been winning games by a large margin recently so he hasn’t been trusted to come off the bench

  5. He’s a very talented footballer who’s a real luxury player in a very stacked squad.

He could walk into most other top teams and start, and he needs to decide how much he values game time.

Would personally love to see him leave, he’s too good to not be playing regular football.

Really should not be in the England squad for the euros based on the options we have. Hope Tuchel doesn’t give him a spot ahead of more deserving options…

It is surprising, given how good he was in the 2023-2024 season, when KDB was injured.

  8. English people might not be willing to hear this but he’s not that good. But you wouldn’t know that based on how the commentators glaze these white English players. An example of how glazing would be that “sensational pass” to Eze.

The commentary during Arsenal’s games always does my head in, surely these commentators have to be watching a different game.

  9. Overrated, always has been. Needs great players around him and a perfect environment to play well. Only my opinion.

A good but not great player. He just needs a reset with a different club. I’m no Foden hater, but he also has no business getting on the plane for England.

He’s just not good is he. Never thought he was as good as others thought he was

He’s a forward, who has been misprofiled as a creative player. He should be an inverted right winger, not letting the games pass him by when he’s central.

    >Per 90 minutes, Foden’s goals and assists over the past two seasons are down compared to his proceeding campaigns.

Well it supports my theory of the flack he got for a poor Euros 24 keeping Palmer on the bench fucking with his head and he’s still not properly mentally recovered enough to get his confidence back.

You don’t go from that kind of a season to what he came back like without some sort of psychological change. He suffers badly from confidence issues imo.

    Edit: word

He’s a finished rat who might get a game at Burnley in the championship next season if lucky.
