Looking forward to hearing for an hour how we are all basically scum and can’t be trusted

Believe it or not they’ve been working on this for well over a year so either it has been in the can and they brought the broadcast date ahead or it’s purely coincidental

Is that the BBC just getting up to speed? Did they miss all those years of the green brigade charging doors and turnstiles to get through.

We will see how fair it is. Will know straight away if it’s a hit piece if they fail to mention the things these groups do for the local communties

The Classism aimed at football is what engrages me the most imo no other sport gets this.

I was weirdly wondering earlier if there was any decent documentaries on the evolution of Ultra culture in Scotland, I’m skeptical that this will be a balanced look but who knows.
I’ve been thinking it’d be interesting to see how the disappearance/lessening prevalence of bam/ned culture and the rise of Ultra culture are linked with how it now seems to have absorbed it and brought it back to life. If anyone knows of anything similar to that let me know! If theres not it can be one of those things i say i’ll do which i have no idea how and then think about it every few months.

There’s somethings I would be interested in learning about. The creative part in particular. Those tifos are huge undertakings and the planning and implementation would be really cool to see. Even at the weekend, the Rangers lion, how all the pieces stayed in place etc etc. I’m sure it will focus on the arsehole side of it all which after the weekend we all got to see. But I know the GB do local charity work and work that involves a club in Palestine. But that won’t sell

Guarantee this documentary will be largely about the power of football and fan groups as a rare escape and unifying force for young people in our society while still talking about the negatives (which there obviously is)
Some of yous should put your tinfoil hats away

I am all for young fans getting involved & becoming a part of improving the overall atmosphere. These “Ultras” are making the football secondary.
Seen a post earlier about Johnstone Burgh saying nobody with face coverings or balaclavas will be allowed in & mentioned there seems to be an increase in Ultras activity.
