  1. Love this guy. Very focused and a no nonsense player… No wonder Mourinho wanted him as his first transfer target.

Should be captain in my opinion. At least it should be between Hojbjerg and Kane but I'd still pick Hojbjerg. Lloris the current captain is rumored to want to go back to France this summer.

As I said in another post on another channel, I think Mourinho even though I like him has to shoulder most of the blame. His team selection was bad… His substitutions were terrible.

Having Davies and Doherty on the same left side is a recipe for disaster against players like Salah and Trent-Alexander who have pace in abundance. And Doherty I don't believe can put a decent cross in from the left. The back 3 of Rodon-Dier-Davies is a makeshift one at best. Davies lacks pace and Rodon is on a learning curve although he did play well except for that one mistake.

They should have gone to a back 3 of Sissoko-Alderweireld (or Dier)-Sanchez instead who have much more pace. Sissoko has played right back for the French national team and occasionally for Tottenham while Sanchez has the pace to keep up with Salah. I know that Sanchez gets criticized a lot but he should be learning and being more knowledgeable of Mourinho's defensive shapes and receiving input from Ledley King and his experiences. Otherwise what's the use of including Ledley in the coaching staff? At least Aurier is getting better except for yesterday where he let Sane glide by him on at least 2 occassions, one leading to a disallowed goal. But he did miss Sissoko backing him up unfortunately.

A front 3 of Bale-Kane-Son would have been a better pick and when Kane got injured I think Bale could have slotted in as striker instead of Son who is more dangerous attacking from the left wing. Bergwijn should have been chosen ahead of Doherty (who I think adds very little to the team and maybe should be sold) because he is naturally left footed and him and Son would have given Trent-Alexander a hard time and he wouldn't be so free to bombard forward for Liverpool.

I don't understand why Mourinho used Winks and Lamela as substitutes for Aurier and the injured Kane. He should have brought Sissoko and Bale on instead to replace Doherty and Kane. So the front 3 would have been Son-Bale-Sissoko and Bergwijn slots as left wingback and the midfield would be Bergwijn-Ndombele-Hojbjerg-Aurier. This way Sissoko could have backed up Aurier too.

Just my 2-cents worth … COYS!!!

  2. Why dont we have a consistent starting 11 in the PL🤔. We fielding a different team every week. We can't have our best defender on the bench against Liverpool. All goals came from defensive mistakes.

  3. Very intelligent player with a great attitude who was obviously being very diplomatic during this interview. Need everyone in the team to take note!

  4. The unsettled defence frailty shows. I don't think Jose has settled on his trusted choices ,all defence combos have been mistake ridden. Yet without consistancy of pairing like Toby and Jan under Poch , against top 6 teams the counter attacking looks bad. Worse when chasing the game, as both Liverpool and Leicester have shown. Great Goal , need two Hojbjergs , I think CH and pivot. The jigsaw puzzle search goes on.

  5. So now statically Spurs would be top of the league if not for Dier’s mistakes. I love Eric Dier but we need to bench him at the moment for the good of the team
