I made a post a few minutes ago about Bayern’s historic dominance this season and the state of competitiveness in the Bundesliga and it got removed after a few minutes. I’m reposting it without any language that would be construed as critical of the league or FC Bayern.

As I said in the last post, I think Bayern is the best team in the world and are currently favorites to win the champions league.

Bayern currently have more goal differential (68) than points (66). I couldn’t find any top 5 leagues team that has ever ended the season with that stat. 2014-15 MSN Barcelona appear to be the closest, with 89 GD to 94 pts.

Is this good or bad for German football? Should we praise these stats or question if they represent an underlying issue?

  1. Considering that they missed Musiala too, we may simply consider that they’re tactically the best team ever (and perhaps just the best team ever, period, but let’s wait for the next CL-rounds)

  2. It’s football anything can happen any match, but they have been amazing this season. Such joy after the previous coaches
