  1. I am happy for Savinho, he had a good game against Newcastle. Hope it works out for the team.

No Cherki is slightly questionable, and savinho played well vs newcastle and a madrid team with half of it out would let him run riot

  3. Strong backline, i guess Doku will play centrally like he did during the group phase against real.

Glad to see AK45 to contain Vinicius, even though I’m not sure them will face each other as Vinicius was positionned as a 9 in their comp

  4. Well that’s some changes and only 2 midfield with Doku will slot in into CAM right?

  5. Thats an exciting one! Surprised about O’Reilly starting over Ait Nouri, Khusa over Nunes and most surprising is Sav starting in a game like this. Prove them wrong🩵

Khusanov at right back? Can’t wait for our right flank to have no attacking threat and for Real to just pile on the pressure on that side, why would their winger even drop back?

This lineup goes against everything Pep has done in away knockout European games of keeping the ball and limiting chances against. Don’t know how I feel about it yet

  8. Wtf is happening? Savinho starting over both cherki and foden(less surprising but man this is madrid away wtf). Ait nouri who has been one of our best players since he cane back is benches. Idk I’m not gonna overthink, in the baldy we trust

Please don’t be one of Pep’s failed experiments🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

Savinho gets a start?!?!?! After all of ONE good performance in a year?

Pep is on something with this lineup..

  11. Pep is doing some weird things in such an important game that he never did before, Semenyo likely at 10 with Savinho and Doku on either side, I know Pep ain’t never playing a real 4-4-2.

I don’t like that BOTH Nunes and RAN are on the bench, no Cherki Foden or Reijnders, we lack creativity before the game starts.

Savingo being pushed into action so early coming back from injury.

I usually see the vision behind weird Pep lineups, but this one is new, I can only say he’s playing it very safe, but that’s the safest he can do.

Let’s see, this is very different from the lineup that won at the Bernabéu last time, but Madrid are at their lowest, playing an academy lad who barely even plays in Laliga against is quite desperate.

I’m not Pep (or the other Pep that’s on the sideline today) and neither are any of you. So, I’ll save my criticism for after the final whistle. Even then, I probably won’t post anything, because I have NO clue what’s happened in training, who has a knock and who might be under the weather. In other words, I’m here to watch and support the team and it ends there as far as I’m personally concerned.

I don’t play FIFA or FM and I don’t think I know how to manage a world class squad…and I have not played competitively in almost 25 years…so I’m gonna keep my managerial suggestions and complaints to a minimum. Cmon city!!!
