To all the people saying raphinha has been playing bad for the past few games,u r wrong the work he does defensively is better than some of our defenders and he also doesn’t have a proper striker to finish his passes

he has been poor, there’s no denying it. we still love him and know he can play better, and it’s a matter of form. once he gets a goal or a good game under his belt he’ll go back to normal. yesterday I though his second half was actually much better. lets see the return leg, I can see him scoring a goal at camp nou

He is clearly not fully fit from the injuries he got this season. Plus without a 9 this season him and Yamal are getting covered a lot.

He cannot come out and say he is not fit tho considering the world cup is approaching

Come on, he always puts in the work, but his output and general play has regressed. He was also caught ball watching, and that led to Newcastle’s goal so that doesn’t exactly help his case either.

I do believe once he scores 1, he’ll start scoring regularly. It’s all about confidence for wingers.

  4. His first half was absolutely tragic. Let’s call a spade a spade. Didn’t mind his 2nd half though. Had two quality moments (arguably our only ones + the Olmo pen).

Sometimes it feels illegal to say someone had a bad game on here because you’ll then see tons of posts like this one. Wtf is wrong with saying he’s had a bad performance?

His pressing and defensive rate is very valuable, but the team’s biggest strength is its offence.

Lewy is poor, Ferran is bad, and if Raphinha disappears, then our main plan falls apart.

He is out of form. Thats a fact. But id still keep him on the pitch because hes a crazy workhorse and ge lifts up the team tremendously. Rashford might get 1-2 g/a, but even if raphinha gets 0 the team still plays better.

  8. he has a poor form that’s it
and if we talking about defending better than our defenders then watch last game the goal is on him in like 55%

Is he a left back or a winger? He has been horrendous since the Supercopa Final

The problem is Raphinha is doing good in def but meh in attack, Ferran and Lewa are doing nothing in attack, so the attacking position is for Yamal only?

Let’s put it this way – an attackers main job is to attack, what raphina provides defensively and work rate is the added bonus (which might be very important too but priority is to attack) – our entire game depends on our front line making and finishing chances – if he’s not able to do that, then it will be considered a poor game – our whole frontline including Fermin were very poor

It’s kind of similar to say a full back – main priority is to defend, whatever he provides in attack is an added bonus

Not even the Goat escaped the criticism,so criticism is valid.Raphinha is still very important, but offensively he is not playing well.

He has less goals in this calendar year than washed and old Lewandowski. His performance against Atletico in the rematch was also not good,so you cant just say like last night that everyone was poor.

  13. I think the team just played as good as needed.

Its better to be safe and finish them at home.

In thw canp nou we gonna demolish em

I’m tired of these glazing posts. Let’s not kid ourselves. He’s having a bad stretch of games and we can acknowledge that. And that’s the end of this. No one is hating on him here.

A month ago some delusional Barca fans were so confident of beating PSG then I told them we ain’t even beating Newcastle and they were calling me are you mad. Here you see now the reality. Barca struggles against mid table laliga teams let alone premier league.

He’s out of form, and that makes sense. He’s been riddled with injuries in the past six months. It’s not easy to get back on track. He has not played back to back 90 minutes since the Elche knock.

  17. Raphinha create a big chance to lewis but he missed it
We need good striker and good CB next window

Wanting doesn’t mean denying the undeniable, he’s been playing pretty badly.

Rapha and dejong are my fav in barca. I don’t think they get much appreciation when they do well, but get more hate when they are in a bad touch. But there’s no denying that he aint upto the mark lately. If we want to be the best team, we need the best version of him. Otherwise, we’ll fail badly in a bigger stage. We need all eleven to be in their best touch to be the best team.

he has been bad for the standard he set last season, but we all know he can play at a higher level

His passes? lmao, that may be the worst part of his game the past month.

look, i think he’s running on fumes and 3 straight years of not being able to bring in reinforcements is doing a number on our players, but Raphinha is a shell of himself.
