I mean Bayern might win it all, they’re stacked. Atalanta is only there because of a friendly draw

  2. Another humiliation for Serie A. Italian teams have no business being in champions league knock out ties this year

Who would have guessed Atalanta will get humiliation in the UCL against a team that’s scoring for fun in their league?

Predictable result, Bayern is on another level compared to Bottlemund

At this pont they might as well field the entire primavera in the return leg

I saw someone saying lets hope Bayern wont beat them 4-0 so they will have a reason to rotate vs Inter.. welp

I love serie A but fluky seasons where a mid team like Inter (no different to Borussia getting to the finals) makes the CL finals doesn’t make the league good, its 101% behind even to the Belgian league

Perhaps serie A fans should treat Conference as their champions league and occasionally the Europa

Only Juve Napoli and Milan are the good teams technique wise in this league, even Como I’d say

A team that can’t dribble being first (Inter) says a lot

Just facts and not a toxic opinion

  7. No shit, Bayern is stacked. Atalanta is solid but have had injuries and some fundamental attacking changes meanwhile defensively liability and a new coach.

Some over dramatic people here saying Serie A is shit.

Povera Atalanta, purtroppo ha preso la miglior squadra del momento, sorteggio sfortunato.

Serie A is literally 20 years behind in football development, possibly even more

Are we truly surprised Bayern smashed Atalanta like this???

Serie A has no physicality. Bayern’s intensity completely overwhelmed Atalanta. They got pressed over the entire pitch and looked knackered after 15 minutes.

This was a complete embarrassment. Not for Atalanta, but for Italian football as a whole. There’s no reason to belittle or laugh at them – they did all they could against an incredible team.

But nights like this should force us to reflect on the state of Serie A. Bayern is a powerhouse, sure, but no Italian top club should be losing like this. Not to anyone.

Something is clearly wrong. Our teams just don’t have the same energy as the rest of Europe. Even clubs that have no right beating us manage to destroy us (and I know that well). Inter, Juve, Napoli: none of us look like we play at the same pace.

It’s not just about winning or losing. It’s how you lose. We don’t run like them, we don’t dribble like them – hell, we don’t even defend like them. And it shows with the national team as well.

This isn’t just a bad night. It’s another reminder that something in Italian football needs to change.
