Him and De Bruyne are probably the only two midfielders we’ve ever had at this level, De Bruyne did it for a lot longer but to dominate the centre of the park like that, win games on his own for us, whilst still being a playmaker, great passer. Unbelievable.
Both Silvas are absolute club legends and not knocking their contributions and they’ve been consistent year after year with what they do/did but Yaya is the man. We should’ve got him a birthday cake.
