We are linked with Cesc Fàbregas. Honestly, I love this and I don’t care he played for Barça. He’s a young, innovative and tactically gifted coach with an aura. He is doing an amazing job with Como. He knows how to win and he’s not afraid of unorthodox methods.

Cesc seems more of a tactician than a man manager and you already know how tactician fare at real madrid

The only good thing is that he will have experience with some of our promising academy products on Como. However, he says almost all the time that he’s not a results based coach but a style based one. That’s almost the opposite of what works at Real Madrid.

Bwahahahahahaha you know what Papa Perez does with trendy Spanish tacticians, into the grinder he’ll go by January!

If we scout another technical manager, we would also need to scout a drill sergeant

    Xabi Alonso is that you

  6. Alonso was already a winner and an invincible champion… what makes you think Fabregas is any better?

Real need a proven winner, someone who can handle big egos and the pressure of the club

So if Xabi didn’t work, then Cesc is going to work? Same reasons as Xabi as well, only good thing out of Cesc will be that he knows how to use Paz, apart from that nothing is going to change.

We need someone that the players look up to – like Zidane. No player will have respect towards a new young coach, because they will think they acomplished more than him. Thats the main issue.

  9. We had a young, innovative and tactically gifted and also proven manager his name is Xabi Alonso

  10. Florentino should get on his knees and beg xabi to come back and giving him full authority of the team.

  11. As an experiment – why not? But do it now. In summer I want Klopp. Unless (against the odds) Cesc kills it and wins it all.

  12. I don’t understand. The board seems to support the idea of man management first, tactics second. Hence, sacking Xabi.

Yet all the rumored people are more like Xabi than a Carlo/Zidane.

So, a lesser version of Xabi Alonso? He is a really talented young coach but if he does not get the backing from the board and power over the dressing room he might aswel just stay and develope at Como.

  14. Hmmm I wonder which young tactical coach we hired recently that led to a coup by our crybabies. Guess the second time in 2 year’s the charm

So what? If the players remain more powerful than the head coach, nothing will change.

Yeah these types of coaches don’t work with our crybaby squad, xabi and cesc are a lot alike when it comes to coaching and there styles would be nice but not with the squad we have

  17. If mfs don’t respect a REAL MADRID LEGEND in xabi Alonso, what makes you think they’re gonna respect Fábregas? Not saying it’s right or wrong but it’s the reality of where we are at.

  18. Xabi was proven and had ties with the club. Those didn’t matter.

No coach can thrive in an environment that is controlled by the players.
