Just so long as he can recycle possession by passing backwards five times in a row and take an eternity to move the ball forward, he’ll slot seamlessly into the Celtic midfield.
If he also meets Michael Nicholson’s recruitment criteria of costing £1.99 and being perfectly content to drag negotiations out until after we’ve crashed out of the Champions League qualifiers, that’s an added bonus.
I’m genuinely looking forward to him managing 2–3 appearances before inevitably getting injured and spending the rest of the season watching from the sidelines.
If I sound jaded, it’s because the club is run by clowns, and my expectations of us signing anyone remotely competent, on time, and not made of glass are now practically subterranean.

In two minds. When we identify targets we go all out for them and then way over spending. When we get loan signings or free agents they tend to be not that great (I am aware outliers, yes). Don’t want us to decide we want a player now and then spend all summer chasing them and then overspending like we did with Idah, Engels and balikwisha.

What is the point in signing players that a future manager doesn’t fancy/doesn’t want? We don’t have a recruitment team, so who is picking these guys? Our priority should be DoF > Manager > Players and then back the DoF and manager, not force players on them.

No idea if he’s good but I’m fine with some good quality signings being made before the manager is in place.
But, where is the chat/ leaks coming about a new manager? I would like that to begin soon, if not already. We can’t be starting the process at the end of the season as it’ll waste the summer transfer window and any chance of a pre season
