  1. The dream that turned into a nightmare, on a human level I feel for him but as a blue and after him and his dad said about the dream playing there I'm not bothered that he's had a rough time should of stayed here and been a legend but went for the money and the dream.

  2. He was offered 200k a week at Chelsea but went to utd for 50k extra a week . Can’t blame him but it also wrecked his career moving there !

  3. This one kinda stings till present day… I always rated him immensely at Chelsea, and he was the "talisman" kid that the aura of the team really gathered around. Seeing him move to Manu the way he did and then disappearing into oblivion remains a great shame. I think him staying at Chelsea would've started a Lampard/Hazard kinda legacy arch for him. Suppose we would've never gotten Palmer then…

  4. Yann I also praised Chelsea’s wage structure at the beginning but learning more about these owners it isn’t really to encourage players to be better it’s more so for them to save more money. If it was about players being better why would they keep playing tosin? Now that I say that it makes me wonder is this why they always making much changes against teams we expect to beat so they don’t have to pay those extra wages 😂 I know it’s a conspiracy but I think I’m onto something

  5. Mason was offered a 1 year extension basically the new contract would just stop him from leaving on a free and made it clear they were trying to get rid of him for psr. If they had offered him a normal 5 year contract he would have likely stayed at Chelsea. He was great for us.

  6. Eh, Mount had the potential to become a legend in blue. He wasn't interested, wanted to be a red. Well, now he's a red. Hope he's enjoying it. Hope he's sticking around for a long, long time, disliked by fans, untrusted by managers, and ignored by the national team coach.

I don't blame Studge for going when he did, I don't blame Mata for going to Man Utd, and I don't blame Hazard for going to Real. I don't even blame Madueke or Havertz for going to Arsenal. They weren't a perfect fit for us and they're trying to carve out a niche across town, like a fair few Chelsea-players before them. Good for them.

But when a player pretty much a nailed on starter and a key player, and they suddenly want to "upgrade" to some other team then they do tend to burn off a lot of goodwill. Tibo, AC, Rudy, Mount, frankly that lot can sod right off. Gallagher was forced out so I don't blame him that much for milking Spurs… But at the end of the day, he's still putting on a Spurs kit and liking it. That just isn't right.

  7. Cole Parker "defected" frrom north to south, and none of us had a problem with that. Pretty much every player changes club at lease once in ther careeer. I have never got into booing players because they have changed club. They only have short careers, and so why shouldn't they?
