E o Thomas Müller é o quarto maior da artilheiro da Alemanha em Copas do Mundo com 10 gols marcados em 14 partidas nas quatro edições em que jogou, e atrás apenas de Miroslav Klose (com 16 gols), Gerd Müller (com 14 gols) e Helmut Rahn (com 11 gols). E duas curiosidades. A primeira é que o próprio Thomas Müller foi, juntamente com o espanhol David Villa, o holandês Wesley Sneijder e o uruguaio Diego Forlán, um dos quatro artilheiros da Copa do Mundo da África do Sul em 2010 com 5 gols marcados, e ele ainda foi eleito o melhor jogador jovem daquela edição, com 20 anos de idade na época. E a segunda é que das quatro Copas do Mundo consecutivas em que atuou pela Alemanha, ele só não marcou gol nas edições da Rússia em 2018 e do Catar em 2022.
