I think there's a genuine possibility the safety mark this year is above 40 points. Sky thinks its going to be 38, but the Prem seems ultra competitive this year, with an "everyone can beat everyone" mentality this year.
Wouldn't be surprised if this year breaks the record of West Ham getting relegated with 42 points in 02/03.

I’d be amazed if all three of Spurs, Forest and West Ham got ten points in the last nine fixtures, personally.
I hope not. I’m sick of seeing Palace on the relegation odds infographic. Would like to just concentrate on the conference league now.
The sky sports one earlier included us and not Brighton, who we’re one place above smh.
