I’m expecting Adams to be a real leader
Hope he does well but based on recent form, he may not be good enough.
From New York Red Bulls to Leipzig to Leeds. He's definitely USA future
Nothing
Presuming Adams starts for the USMNT at the World Cup, does this possible teammate chemistry give Brendan Aaronson a better shot at starting in Qatar?
The most overrated player on the national team adams
Really bugs me how Americans say Premier.. im sure us Brits have some horrible pronunciations but that one really annoys me lol
He will not be important. In fact he will probably take a step backwards. They act like 20mil is alot lol chelsea spends triple that on bench players. 😂
Hercules is an absolute 🤡🤡🤡🤡
How is Seb so red below the neck😂 Is he that red all over beneath the make-up?
Marsch doing a Ten Hag … is this case .bringing in a american ….what a shock. ⚽😜🇬🇧
I think it is good to get anothe american in. Ten Hag is bringing Dutch players to Man U. Pep brought Spanish players to City. Jose brought Portuguese players to Chelsea back in the day.
Marsch is really sticking his neck out here
Adams was getting killed early in the bundesliga season. Was it all his fault probably not but Adams hasn't shown he can adapt… Yet.
The narrative of him being a leader needs to stop he needs to figure out how to play at a high level consistently before he's crowned.
I hope Adams adapts and does well because IMO his career is at a crossroads.
What can Leeds expect? Relegation
I would do the same thing being a Peruvian id have all them cholitos in the prem!
We need Craig Burley for this show to rock 🎉
Jesse wanted a guy that knows him and knows the system. As far as Leeds being a relegation candidate… yes they are. 7 to 17 in the EPL is an absolute dog fight every single game. The pressure will be get results from the first two months. August and September are huge if you look at schedule b/c they are the "winnable games."
Welcome to England, welcome to the pressure cooker.
Oh and throw a world cup in the middle of the season. MOT
Adams plays better as a Right Back
A other trash American player I hope they get relegated.
I love what Leeds is doing. They are getting a lot of young talented players with engines. This will be an enjoyable team to watch
The idea of him being captain is stupid if he does that he loses any credibility at least not until he’s proved it to the fans
Put Chritian on loan for the season to Leeds, I think that would be great for him to build chemistry with some of his team, and for his form heading into the World Cup
I think it's really lazy journalism to say that Leeds are gunna be in a relegation battle just because of 1 bad season. Our issue was depth and we are solving that now.
Super cool for Adams, Aaronson, and Team USA.
Two US players on same Premier League team in a World Cup window……heck yes 🙌🏼!!
Leeds were already linked to Aaronson before Marsch got there so he's not a Marsch signing. Adams absolutely is though because he wasn't linked. It is a very risky move by Marsch because he's replacing the club's icon (Kalvin Phillips) with a fringe Bundesliga player. Adams' has a ton of potential but not every American star can make it in the Premier League (Donovan and Altidore for instance) I'm really hoping both Aaronson and Adams work out and Leeds doesn't get relegated though. Ever since Fulham got relegated there hasn't been a Premier League team readily giving chances to American players. If things work out with Marsch, Aaronson and Adams I could see Leeds being that gateway to the prem for Americans.
Hopefully now either Pulisic or Brooks come to Leeds Utd even though Brooks would probably not be a starter despite his performance from Wolfsburg by the end of the season but he did okay and as far as Pulisic if I’m him I would go with Leeds or maybe play in la liga.
Consistency and maturity. Not like Pulisic at Chelsea who has neither.
A nice double pivot with Roca, will allow Tyler to play his natural game of breaking up play. Our CB's will love him this season after our midfield was so easy to run through last season.
You guys have to remember they also brought in Marc Roca as another CDM. These two are going to play alongside each other for sure. Roca is an excellent passer while Adams will hunt the ball and win it back. Great business by Leeds this window.
If Bamford comes back healthy for this season and they sign Sinisterra as a pseudo-Raphinha replacement, they will be very exciting to watch.
The Brits have been blaming the Americans ever since George Washington… It's fine… It's ok… It doesn't offend us… Yes we have the death penalty and seeing the doctor isn't free… you can buy Vaseline, a bible, flip-flop sandals, liquor, beer, rifles, and ammunition, all together at Walmart… Not to mention the fetus flaying freedom is in peril (who said alive babies aren't a good thing?)… But we love sports and are good at almost everything… Besides… Leeds has needs… Leeds has needs… So… 'Murica, horse, cow, wessern … Getterdun…
Jesse Marsch that’s a great move mate,I distinctly recall Arsene Wenger bringing in his fellow countrymen in the mid ‘90’s and he was successful, and I truly hope Jesse Marsch shuts down the naysayers. And no I am not saying Jesse Marsch is Arsene Wenger.
Excited to see how this can improve Adams game to help the USMNT this Fall and beyond.
He’s what we’ve needed an enforcer while roca does the nice stuff
Yanks are dumb one of the Englands greatest teams and worldwide brands but it's a step backwards donuts
Adams can't, and shouldn't be expected to, replace Phillips. Marsch will play a different formation, with Adams and Roca sharing the responsibilities. The American analysts are over-playing the American angle on this, but I suppose that's understandable. Marsch has also brought in four non-Americans, and all six are young and eager…that's the real change that is happening.
"the English game"
Haha. Not quite. Top six clubs don't have an English manager. EPL is great because of the influx of foreign players; half of the starting lineup in the top six EPL clubs are non-English.
Issue I have with Adams is the the's an offensive liability. He brings very little when coming forward. Hustle can only do so much.
When have Americans ever ruined an EPL team?
Don't they also have another american brit in Jack Harrison? Mls product.
Waste of money
