West Ham United are facing a full-blown crisis as Lucas Paquetá pushes hard for an exit.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Paquetá has agreed personal terms with Flamengo and is now forcing West Ham’s hand. Sources say the Brazilian has informed the club he does not wish to play again, leaving the Hammers in an increasingly untenable position.
ExWHUEmployee has confirmed the club’s record signing is driving the move back to Brazil, while Flamengo attempt to engineer a cut-price deal for the 28-year-old.
With West Ham United short of midfield options, George Earthy already gone, and Nuno Espírito Santo desperate to keep his best player, the club now look backed into a corner.

He reminds me of Kudos. Very talented and always likely to do something special but then loses possession trying to be clever too many times.
I have said it several times, but when we played against Lyon in the Europa he was more or less anonymous, apart from throwing himself to the floor and appealing for free kicks, etc. Apart from the odd goal here and there, his main contribution was THAT pass in Prague, otherwise, he merely replicated his antics in those two Lyon matches during the majority of his time with us.

I think Paqueta mentally left the club when he got that red card several weeks back. Bad timing for sure in a relegation battle, but honestly, Paqueta's contributions have been very uneven. Nuno needs to realize that he needs to make the most of the fee he will get. The bigger problem in my mind is figuring why Nuno gets as much say in transfers when his job is on a string, as many expect he won't even see us through in the Championship.
