Hey guys, Im from Brazil and to be honest I don’t watch many NFFC games.
What are your thoughts about Murillo as a defender comparing to the premier league competition? I really think he’s underrated here, the only great chance he had on the national team was a complete disaster (1-4 against Argentina and subbed in half-time). Never got called again, and he really underperformed, but the team was in shambles at that moment. When I watch his games, he’s being an absolute beast.
Would be fair if he makes the final squad? I think his competition would be with Gabriel from Arsenal, Alexsandro from Lille and maybe Bremmer from Juventus.
Just a heads up, Danilo, the midfielder you guys sent to Botafogo is killing in Brazil, that guy is a dog. A pitty he didn’t worked in the prem.

It’s hard to say because my early experience with Forest centre backs were shit championship players. But honestly I’ve never seen a defender like him, he’s ridiculously talented
Brazil can’t do a whole lot worse than they are right now, it seems absurd they wouldn’t give Our Rectangle a shot.
He was so terrible in his only game for Brasil.
It was heartbreaking cause we know he’s an incredible player and a likable guy. I really hope he gets another chance.
[Edit to add – I think it’s unlikely the chance will come before or during the 2026 WC, Ancelotti will go with more experience, but Murillo is only 23 so his time should come)
Nice to hear Danilo is doing well. Another likeable kid who’d the fans loved.
Murillo is still young, I think he’ll get a massive move soon and get called up again after that probably.
He’s definitely good enough to be at least a 4th option but it’s almost too late to integrate him into your squad probably. He was thrown into the deep end for his debut and didn’t play well (not that many players did) so I hope he can become part of the Brazil squad at some point soon and have time to stake a claim for a spot. Feel like he won’t get consistent callups until he moves to a more fashionable team sadly.
