Possibly the worst performance I’ve seen from Konsa and Emery so far.
The Cash -> Bogarde switch was bloody awful management. Yes Cash had a yellow but the solution was to drop deeper, change shape or push more players across to the right. Not throw on a worse, inexperienced and non specialist player into the area we were having massive issues and not give him any more help.
We can only hope that a heavy defeat and yet another poor performance leads to a change of approach from Emery, which somehow gives us a scrappy win and we gain confidence from there.
