Nah fuck him – he went to town on a young player after half a season in a new country, said during the Burnley game that he should never put on a Utd jersey again – then *doubled down* on that after Sesko scored 2 great goals, because he’s such a stubborn cunt. Backing down after Sesko is in undeniable fantastic form isn’t a huge flex for him, even the most bitter Utd haters couldn’t criticise Sesko right now. And who gives a shit about Sherwood’s opinion either way.
Plus the criticism about Sesko not taking a penalty (and making such a declaration on his ability because of that) is so weird, does Sherwood know about the process for selecting the penalty takers? For all we know, Amorim set the order and put Sesko down the list for some reason (plus didn’t he have a knock too, which would explain it more?)
What a horrible post by him. He still doesn’t see the talent or potential in Sesko, just Carrick good Amorim bad. which I guess wasn’t the case when he was spewing that nonsense?
The new coaching staff have helped no doubt, but they can only bring out the player’s potential if it exists in the first place. This is a reluctant “oopsie” at best.

Nah fuck off. He apologizes but then he continues this lie that sesko was too scared to take a penalty vs grimsby when he was carrying a knock. The players all thought we would be done in the shootout so he wouldnt need to take one to risk aggravated his knock.
The problem is pundits don’t watch every game and give their opinions based on small sample sizes, Sesko has been a threat all season now that Bruno’s playing closer to him he’s getting higher quality chances and his confidence has grown in front of goal because he has scored them. It all started against Burnley when he scored and has just stampeded since then.

Was explained publicly that he was suffering from cramp to the extent it was ridiculous to ask him to take a penalty because if nothing else, it jeapardised the teams chances of winning by having a player in that condition try to take one.
Tim just doesnt know this because he excercises no dilligence in his work. He rocks up having done no preparation at all, no reading, no analysis, no information checking, just spews his opinions based on very limited information without any real care for if what he is saying is true or accurate, because “its my opinion and opinions cant be wrong” is the top and bottom of his current line of work.

I also do not see an apology in this quote? “i owe an apology” is not an apology. Does Tim not have the character to stand up and want to say “sorry” even when acknowledging that he owes one?

The truth is that Sesko had no pre-season, stated from the bench and actually performed well initially just was a bit rusty in front of goal but was racking up good chances. He then had a knee injury which stalled him. Came back and has started to find his feet like a young striker normally does in his early 20s.
Looking at games vs goals when there were only a few starts in there is pathetic level analysis.
