Does anyone else here think it’s really weird that the thing that Liverpool is the most famous for is The Beatles and yet NONE of the members of that band supported Liverpool football club?
Paul & John – Everton fans
Ringo – Arsenal fan
George – no interest in football
It’s quite a good summary of what the working class community think of this club (John and Paul came from working class backgrounds) they can’t stick Liverpool but love the community feel of Everton even if they don’t like the sport all that much.
It’s why this myth Liverpool FC try to market that they are a socialist, ‘mes que en club’ entity is all utter baloney. They were founded by a Tory, owned by capitalist, spent more in a transfer window than any football club in history, mainly supported by posh Liverpudlians and glory hunters. The biggest fraud in world football. An utter capitalist, immoral lie. And I say that as someone with family conned by the Liverpool lie. Shame on Liverpool FC. Everton are the team of that city.
