      I mean, I don’t think it was necessarily a failed signing.

      He has played in a majority of their matches.

      This isn’t necessarily the worst tactic in the world. It’s like opening a shop in the street McDonalds are planning a store – you know they’ve put a lot of effort into looking at all the data about footfall etc.
