I mean the same accusation has been made about Kane missing some clear chances in the UCL (last season vs Inter for example) but it’s hard to rate a player based on one game. Like if a player hits the bar it doesn’t even count as a shot on target, or if Olise dribblest past 2 or 3 players, and then makes the pass that leads to the assist, that doesn’t even count as anything (other than for his drib. stats).
Olise is probably the best RW in the world right this season, the most hyped is Lamine Yamal but I think Olise is more consistent and less injury prone (so far), same for Dembélé who is now more of a 9 but spends half a season injured. Salah was great last season but this one he’s massively underperforming, and I can’t think of any other options that are better than Olise, the Brits love Saka but his numbers are not even close to Olise’s despite playing in the best squad in the Prem.
